Common Questions and Mistakes

What tankless system is best for me?
We recommend that you get a tankless Bosch system because we've worked with a lot of water heaters over the years, and we ended up only offering Bosch because we found that they are head and shoulders above other manufacturers. They're simply the most efficient, reliable systems on the market. To select the right system for your home or business, we recommend that you use Bosch's model sizing calculator.
How long will a tankless system last?
This depends entirely on two things: 1) the model you select. Bosch systems usually have the greatest durability and performance; and 2) whether or not they are maintained properly. Imagine you buy your dream car, and then neglect to change the oil or give it any kind of tune up. How long would you expect that car to last? Initially, you'd think, "I don't need to change the oil. My car is working fine." Then, inevitably, the car would fail. With any high performance machine, your tankless system must be maintained properly in order to achieve the highest performance and savings.
About how much can I expect to save on energy bills with my tankless system?
energy cash savingsTankless systems are more efficient than standard or traditional water heaters, but they usually cost more than a standard system, and the installation is more involved. However, you will more likely more than make up for the cost on the long-term energy efficiency. Tankless systems are usually about 20-30% more efficient than standard systems. While tankless systems are more efficient, and they will likely save you money over time, many people invest in a tankless system because of the convenience of always having the hot water you need, when you need it.
What are the factors I should consider when buying a tankless system?

Most people won't continue to investigate and compare the product for other things that might be important once they find an option that fits their price range. They assume that all manufacturers and models are basically the same, and that the price is the only factor they need to consider.

Here Are 4 Important Things To Look For When You Consider Investing In a New Tankless System:

  1. Warranty - the product warranty is almost always going to indicate the quality of the product. A manufacturer does not like to take chances, so they will provide a warranty on a product for a period of time that they are likely to have few if any returns or coverage problems. Always check the warranty notice that basically says if you need something fixed or replaced, it's up to you to pay for the labor. Also, the manufacturer may only back the warranty if the product has been installed and properly maintained by an authorized installation expert. We are the preferred Bosch installation and service professionals throughout the entire valley.

  2. Performance Capacity: There is no need to continually keep several gallons of hot water - always burning up energy, just in case you might want to take a shower or run the dishwasher, or do some laundry. A tankless system can provide a precise amount of hot water, without the waste. Some tankless systems are perfect for a small family or single dwelling, while others are appropriate for multi-unit dwellings. Always select a system that will meet your needs. The beauty of a tankless system is that you can optimize the system to achieve the most energy efficient results for your needs.

  3. After Sale Service and Support: When you consider the Service you will need to maintain your machine, and availability of components, you realize that this should be a major consideration in your selection of a system. A tankless water heater is a significant investment. Make sure that as you look at price tags, you also consider whether or not the tankless system you choose will have parts and maintenance experts nearby should you ever need them. Over the years we have serviced and repaired tankless systems, we continue to see mistakes that we made during the installation and "service" that other professionals have handled. In fact, the VAST MAJORITY of systems are not installed properly. We install systems correctly because we are specially trained to install and maintain Bosch systems.

  4. 4. Price: Most people won't continue to investigate and compare the product for other things that might be important once they find an option that fits their price range. They assume that all manufacturers and models are basically the same, and that the price is the only factor they need to consider.
